Sep 23, 2015 · my a6 c6 4f2 s-line 3.0 v6 tdi auto has just hit 80k miles only owned abt 18 months and all of sudden im thinking of changing transmission fluid and haldex fluid I have phoned audi and they told me that it doesnt get changed ever as they are sealed for life units and when they entered my reg there was no option to change gearbox oil or haldex oil

I was completely unaware of the gearbox oil change, and was reminded by Audi when I booked car in for a Big Service (£399)
Transmission Oil Temperature must be between 60 °C and 90 °C. If the procedure does not succeed in the first try, make sure the temperature is above 80 °C. Feb 12, 2019 · 2. Gear oil system - Manual gearbox, transfer case (centre differential) and front axle drive. What should be replaced: Approx. 4-5ltrs of hypoid gear oil, simple drain and replace. Recommended servicing interval: Audi say lifetime, every 40k-50k miles at least but why not change at the same time as (1).
